Make an appointment with either a manipulative medicine doc or a physical medicine doc. They will be best for the symptoms you are experiencing. They will diagnosis, treat and or setup a treatment program with you. I have been involved with rehab specialists for over 20 yrs. i have gone through the same symptoms as you are experiencing now. I t s no fun and can be very debilitating at times. Meds do not seem to help most people with these symptoms. They will make you sleepy but will not relieve the pain. I would be happy to discuss this with you via the phone if you like as I am not the best at writing this out. Shoot me an email and we can set something up. I'll try and dig up some specific exercise diagrams that might be helpful. Not sure if I still have them. In the meantime don't do bench press exercises or similar as they will only round and pull your shoulders in more adding to your pain level.
I am not a physician, just trying to help you travel a road that I have already traveled.
