Best Health Care Stock?
I am in a stock club and they are leaning toward a health care stock purchase. I know that a mutual fund would make sense here but the unwritten rule is stocks only.
Edwards Jones recommends CVS. I naturally oppose anything the broker recommends.
Suggestions?

I tend to focus on dividend payers and I currently own the following: JNJ, BAX, GSK, NVS, and MDT.
This is not intended as a recommendation, just as a starting point for your research.

Thanks for the input. Health Care investment is such a broad area.
I never thought of Medtronic as one of the big players but I guess they are. JNJ is always my default choice. Good stuff to start researching with.

A good start would be David Fish ccc stock list, if you have a dividend focus.

The term "health care" is so broad that it encompasses many different industries and types of companies. I think your club should narrow its choice down to a particular type of company (e.g., drug manufacturer), then do the research.
