Interesting how the Line IPO is probably getting a *HUGE* boost in value riding on top of the current market rally.

I wonder if that is ever anticipated - or dare I say even planned for - during IPO kick-offs, either positively or negatively. Or are the planning phases so far out it doesn't come into play?

I suppose IPOs are susceptible to market timing as well. I would imagine they try to pick the day...I know FB did.

Private equity does. They look at private placements vs. IPOs and the decide the best exit route.
