OIH (Oil Service HOLDRS Trust)

I'm looking for something to survive inflation at least and increase in value at best. (Who isn't.)

I don't see oil staying cheap forever and this looks like a nice, diversified way to keep ahead without too much downside risk.

Any thoughts?

I agree, but what do I know. Everything I own is in the red.

It's a wonderful trading vehicle (goes up and down) and no doubt a good long termer if you are thinking two years or so.
FIDO has FSESX which follows OIH pretty close in performance.

I agree its a good opportunity to buy oil, and that it won't be cheap once the recession ends.

You may want to look at Vanguard's VDE also.
