I'm up for the month, nunnun is down.

What kind of math are you using? Or has your delusion hit new levels?
Month to month, you were up more than nunnun was up. nunnun was not down.
NOV2018 nunnun: 1.90%
NOV2018 Boho: 2.85%
At any rate, it not a one month contest. The cumulative so far:
nunnun: 19.89%
Boho: 3.56%
My math says you are stinkin' up the place!
My math also says to beat nunnun (let alone the ~ 6 players ahead of him), you have 16 months to make up a 16.33% deficit, so you need to outperform nunnunn by over 1% a month. Should be easy, right? Or will you use Boho math?

I read the wrong column in Seng's post. It was the wrong day too. Someone should create a linked index of the monthly results. Here's November:

Not wildly surprising since the way to win this game is to swing for the fences and in a downdraft, those high-flier stocks tend to take an enormous hit, whereas the well-diversified manage better. Lol! Fermion is in first and last place!

"US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping have agreed to halt new trade tariffs for 90 days to allow for talks."
I can't imagine talks falling apart within the next 30 days. Probably not 60 days either. Neither could I imagine a good negotiator settling for less than everything after only 30 or 60 days when he has 90, and neither side will be getting everything. I think I have 60-90 days to liquidate what I bought on dips and buy the manufacturing sector. After the trade deal I'll check the status of Trump's troubles and decide when to liquidate everything and buy gold or something.

So your $976K account is on margin to the tune of $618K?
Well, if you timed it right, that could move you up in the rankings. If not...

With all current gyrations in the market, thought I'd take a peek at the top standings.
Spudd wrestled the lead away from Fermion with a giant one day uptick in value change.

I was curious what Spudd did, so I logged in and took a look.
It looks like he (she?) bought 34,000 shares of CGC (a marijuana stock) yesterday at about $28.38 per share, and the stock is now trading at $31.54 or so. Obviously that's only about $100K of gains, so it doesn't explain the $600K increase. If you look at Spudd's account now, the CGC holding shows an almost $700K drop in value today.
I think somehow there was a wonky stock price for CGC sometime in overnight trading and the Investopedia site latched onto it, so Fermion will probably be back in the lead after the rankings are done after close of market today.

I agree, I too was trying to figure out why I leaped to the top. My CGC trade was good, but not that good.
