5 Cruise Lines That Let You BYOB

When we cruise, I always try to smuggle some hooch aboard. Don't have to worry with there guys.

Quote:

Disney Cruise Line
The Mouse lets passengers 21 years of age and older bring their own beer and liquor onboard for in-cabin consumption. It makes no difference whether you schlep it on at embarkation or from a port of call

Cunard Line
According to the Cunard Line FAQ micro-site, "there is no restriction to the amount [of alcohol] that can be carried onboard" at embarkation or in port. So go to town! (Literally, go into town and purchase a bottle of spirits.)

Azamara Club Cruises
Two-ship luxe-lite line Azamara Club Cruises makes passengers pay for most alcoholic drinks -- wine and beer are currently included with lunch and dinner -- but liquor can be brought aboard and consumed in-cabin without issue

Oceania Cruises
Oceania Cruises is another luxe-lite line that makes you pony up for booze onboard. Bringing your own, however, is allowed. Passengers may consume their own beer or liquor, brought on during embarkation or from a port of call. But keep the party in the cabin.

P&O Cruises
According to British line P&O Cruises, passengers are welcome to bring a small amount of alcohol with them. There is no restriction to the amount. P&O does, however, reserve the right to remove alcohol at the gangway should the need arise (just like sister line Cunard)

Headed for my first cruise next Thursday, but the cruise line only allows 750ml of wine or champagne. I have, however, bought some fake binoculars from a company on Amazon that will hold 16oz of liquid, in this case Stoli...

They don't look that much like real binoculars up close, but I figure they will when inside my bag going through the scanner.

First cruise? Have a GREAT time
Remember to bring a big sturdy plastic cup with a tight fitting top, and a foam insulator sleeve around it. You can usually get free fruit juice or fruit drink mix and ice near the buffets or pool. Add some fresh fruit from the various food stations, and you have gone truly tropical!
When you want to spike the juice, just do it in your cabin. Nobody will bother you if you walk around with a large cup on deck. You may want to buy 1 drink and hang onto the receipt if anyone does inquire.

Viking River Cruises in Europe had no restrictions (we could have taken a WMD on board), great time too.
