Few pics from recent cruise

Four day cruise from Galveston to Cozumel and back on Carnival Triumph.

Lots of eating and drinking (gained 3.5 lbs, despite walking and hitting the fitness center twice). Dropped by one bar every evening to listen to a Chinese fellow play guitar and sing country music; nicknamed him Hank Wang Jr. Up for sunrise, followed by breakfast buffet and our favorite table overlooking the GOM.

Great time, though not sure generic cruising is on my bucket list...

Playa Mia Beach, Cozumel is one of the places I remember from the Carnival cruises I've been on. Your last photo reminds me of it.

Proving once again that exercise (while good for you in other ways) is anti-weight loss. (there is scientific evidence of this as opposed to the opposite.)

In any event, outstanding photographs. Quite a motivational thread.

Though, to quote Gallagher, "I watch sports on TV for exercise. I'm really tired after a good game, aren't you?"

Exercise is for fitness and health, not necessarily for weight loss, especially "chronic cardio", as Mark Sisson calls it...

And wasn't it Ed McMahon who said he had a guy come in twice a week and do it for him?

I remember a scene in Cocktail where the character played by Tom Cruise discussed the boring life of the people whose job was to make these drink umbrellas. I could not find that scene on youtube, so how about this instead?
