Looking for recommendations from locals or those who have travelled here for golf courses. Neither of us are picky enough to "require" a pristine "pro" course (last weekend was at Dover AFB's course and we had a blast) I have been surfing online, and am completely opposed to paying $100+ for WEEKDAY greens fees!!! 
Any idea how far the military discount might get us?
Reno will be 29-31 Aug
Sac golfing will be 23 Aug & 1 Sep
Personal recommendations? (this is to counterbalance the adventures on the pack mules this weekend!)

PS - any packing advice for the clubs? We are going to load 2/3's of each of our clubs into one bag, wrap with jackets or soft stuff and pack it in the golf bag suitcase with wheels....
