Danmar:
A bit disappointing for me, perhaps because I compared it to Angkor Wat and northern part of Thailand. The city is charming, very small, not much to see, two days max.

It was a bit cold for the area when I was there, people were burning wood or whatever they could find to keep warm, you can smell the smoke all day long. Did not enjoy breathing the smoke filled air. You will be there is summer, it will be hot and humid.

If you have any more questions, please feel free to either post or pm.

Thanks. We are going as part of a biking trip so should be OK. Also seeing Angkor Wat and Viet Nam. In Sept going to the north of Thailand to the Four Seasons Elephant Camp a well as a river cruise up the Irrawady. Cheers.
