St Martin -- Great Beaches, Fantastic Food, & Good Time

We went there a few years ago and had a great time. The USD was still strong and the cost was fairly low at the time.

Great beaches and weather, shops with a quaint French flair (DW loves shopping), and very good French restaurants.

I would recommend it. But today... with the USD at a low, it is kinda expensive.

For now we travel to Beaches where the USD is hold on ok (Mexico and Latin America). But when the USD rebounds (and it will)... St Martin, here we come!

Oui Oui... especially Baie Orientale. Although DW and I have only ventured to Grand Case.

In our experience, St Martin is very expensive. The French restaurants on the harbor are fantastic but expensive. Philipsburg is a bit cheaper. OTOH a good deal on an AI on the French side might work fine.
