Travel talk demystified

I found this old list given to me a long time ago by a travel agent friend. Perhaps it will be useful to those planning their 2016 trips.

Translations from brochure-speak to plain language.

It is kind of like realtor talk.

example

Patio = Where the cement truck turned over
Cozy = one room, including the bathroom

Too true, I remember a resort and spa I stayed at in Krabi, Thailand. Really just bungalows and a small pool. I wasn't expecting much and still left happy.

Cheeky; No need to go to Thailand for that. Plenty of those here in Las Vegas. If that's what I wanted I could have saved myself the $1000 plane ticket.
