Are you asking if they'll stay married if she loses?

No, I was referring to Bill throwing a fit. As in being mad.
Whether they stay married or not may depend on, if the person who wore that famous blue dress is still available. When it comes to love and lust one just never knows. Misery sometimes has strange bedfellows. ![]() GOD BLESS US ALL ![]()

It appears that Mrs. Clinton won PA. 55 to 45 over Mr. Obama. We will have to see just how bloody and dirty the rest of the campaign gets. It may be time for Mr. Obama to put on the gloves and go a few rounds with the Clinton political machine. GOD BLESS US ALL ![]()

Interesting thread so far... but time for a prediction..... I believe that McCain is going to win this year.. and not by just a little.... but in a landslide victory the likes of which has not been seen since Reagan. Why? Because at this point it does not matter who wins the nomination on the Dem side. They are so close now that neither one will "step aside" easily. They will fight to the death at this point. And irreguardless of which one finally gets it, the recriminations will continue through the general election as well. I expect there will be lawsuits filed, allegations into fraud made, etc. In essence I think the american public will be so turned off by the spectacle that is comming that they will just vote for McCain instead. Just my opinions...

![]() Even so, the real winner of the Democratic race in Pennsylvania is John McCain. The most significant number coming out of Tuesday night wasn't Clinton's 10 point margin of victory, but 43. That's the percentage of Clinton voters who say they would stay home or vote for McCain if Obama is the party's nominee in November. It is no longer just the Chicken Littles within the party who openly worry about an outcome that leaves large blocks of women or African-Americans frustrated and alienated. |

Townhall com. - Will the Train Wreck Prevail ?
Townhall.com::Will the Train Wreck Prevail?::By Richard H. Collins Excerpt from the article What we have is a stalemate. He can’t seem to win decisively and she refuses to go away. He seems increasingly limited in his appeal and she can’t shake near record negatives. And the Democrats seem powerless to stop the drama and pick a winner. End of excerpt. Folks the Clinton's know how to survive and with this negative campaign which makes both candidates look bad continuing it looks like the one who will be in the driver's seat come November will be Mr. McCain. Mr. McCain reminds me of the cat who ate the ca·nar·y while Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton fight over the feathers. All Mr. McCain is doing is sitting back and watching these two tear each other apart. ![]() GOD BLESS US ALL ![]()

I think a lot of the Democrats who say they wouldn't vote for the other democratic contender will have a change of heart before the general election and will close ranks behind the Democratic nominee. Things are very heated right now, but once the DNC spin machine start painting McCain as nothing more than an extension of Bush , they'll fall into line. Of course, McCain is not very much like Bush at all, but I don't know if that is important.
The GOP has largely closed ranks behind McCain, and he was really despised by many Republicans. The same will happen on the Democratic side, though maybe to a lesser degree (McCain is a more centrist candidate than either Clinton or Obama, so he will slurp off a limited number of the "mad" supporters of the loser in the Obama/Clinton clash) Hilary won't go down without a very protracted fight--this is her only chance at this, and she's made a lot of sacrifices to get here. Love her or hate her, you've got to admit she's tenacious. Look for some very creative math in the coming months. For instance, if you squint at the numbers just right, you could make the argument that Hilary has more "f the delegates that count" than Obama (the number of general election delegates in the states she has won is larger than the number of general election delegates in the states Obama has won). And, that's without counting Florida and Michigan--expect a bruising battle over the delegates from those states.

Yes that Hillary she is a tenacious. I think I heard that she leads in the popular vote. If you count Michigan and Florida, and why shouldn't they count.
![]() I am looking forward to the lawsuits regarding the Michigan and Florida delegates. Still I agree with Sam, before the campaign started most Democrats expressed satisfaction with Hillary and Obama. By Nov. I suspect that most will remember that. On the other hand I think McCain still has a decent shot at independents who supported Obama, or blue collar Democrats who support Hillary but will find Obama too liberal. |

To be honest... I find this the most humorous thing of all. They did this to themselves.... designed it that way. The dem party said that because they missed a certain date (forgive me for not knowing the particulars), their votes will not be counted. And before it is all over they will be screeching at how unfair it was, etc, etc. And they will look for enemies, and lawsuits, and somehow try to blame Bush for why Michigan and Florida did not count (logic of course being lacking). But in the end the party did it to themselves, and they will never be able to escape the reality of that. No matter how hard they try..... and they will. Mark my words... I predict that before this is all over the dems will find some completely illogical way of blaming the pres or the Republican party for why Michigan and Florida did not count in their primaries...

I think you're stating the obvious. In fact, I already heard a commentator on NPR give that interpretation....... The reasoning was that Bush is trying to steer a primary victory to one of the Dem candidates (the one he thinks McCain has the best chance against, can't remember and it changes from time to time) and therefore is manipulating the Dem primary process.

IIRC, Michigan and Florida wanted to have their primaries early, against the wishes of the DNC. No shortage of things to blame on GWB, but this isn't one of them...
