Phil Gramm. He sold out the country. Or scr3wed all the american people and most businesses ny enabling speculation.

He had an obvious conflict of interest at the time.

hey, it's not just Gramm. Paulson is ex-Goldman Sachs. James Baker goes back and forth from Washington to representing oil co.s and dictators and his own fine self. While it's true that often people in industry have valuable experience with said industry, it's not at all clear that theyturn on a dime at a moment's notice and do their best against all temptations to represent the American public instead, against the predations of their former friends and colleagues.
