Yes, 4 more years of the same, because the last 8 were so great. They're all idiots.

Good for Mr. McCain.

There is nothing wrong with telling the truth because on the issue of Hurricane Katrina = the federal government and Mr. Bush dropped the ball and they continue to do so.

GOD BLESS US ALL

Anybody falling for this is an ID-10-T. Let's see, Katrina happened in 2005, Congress was controlled by Republicans, McSame is a Republican in the Senate and doesn't introduce any legislation to help in 2005 or any comments condemning Bush handling of the issue. Oh and wasn't Bush at a McSame birthday celebration when Katrina hit.

WHAT A HYPOCRITE. AND I MEAN THAT IN THE MOST RESPECTFUL WAY.

Other than the COE doing work on the levies & the initial rescue efforts to get folks to safety (partially the fault of the State of Louisiana) - I don't really see how any further "saving" of the city of New Orleans or it's people is a federal responsibility.

You speak the truth! The Demoncrat mayor and Demoncrat Govenor should have done a whole lot more to help and they did not. They did not even ask for help until it was too late.

Typical lack of responsibility on the part of the Demoncrats. Do nothing, make no plans, take no action - just blame everyone else. Sounds just like the current Demoncrat congdigress.

I actually think the Fed (Fema) did everything right. The issue was and has always been with the state and local government. I know that doesn't sit well with the Bush bashers but its what happened.

One of my client's sons was part of the Louisiana National Guard at the time. He said they sat around frustrated because the governor wouldn't give them orders to help out. Their commanding officer told him his hands were tied, and he was frustrated too.

The mayor of New Orleans should have asked for help from the governor, who would have ordered the National Guard to help...............

After all, WHY do we have a National Guard if we aren't going to ask them for help??..........

The first 8 were OK, the last 8 sucked, IMO.

You must love wasting money on wars, runnin' up deficits, mandating things without providing funding, subsidizing ethanol, etc. Pointless for me to go on until everyone removes their rose-colored glasses. It's not all the work of just one man, but you aren't a pirate ship if the captain is in the Navy.

The area was basically unprepared and Mayor Ray Nagin ignored the hurricane warnings, didn't use the buses that were available to help people vacate and then blamed everyone else. Lots of blame to go around.

Thankfully the Coast Guard was not under the control of the governor. For such a small organization they were the ones that stood up quickly when the need arose.

AFAIK they are the practically the only government organization that didn't screw-up. Somewhat ironic the one organization that just jumps in and does its job instead of looking to shift blame, ends up looking good.

McCain would have been a much better choice than GWB for the last two terms. Unfortunately for him... his opportunity has passed.

He will not win unless his opponent does something drastically wrong.

Commit your vote to McCain and you may not have to wait for the Dems to do something else drastically wrong.
