Uh, we live in a country where a fair proportion of the country will at some point utter the words, "Hey, Bubba, hold my beer and watch this!"

You're surprised that most Merkins quoted by the media are clueless? I am not.

Have they decided whether crude oil is a renewable-ish source or not? That whole "our cars sip from the powdered bones of dinosaurs" thing was always hard to swallow.

I'm primarily surprised that many posters here are surprised/outraged. Secondarily that folks in general are surprised/outraged.

Here's my projection: As the world's population continues to grow and distribute itself across the earth, energy and food will become more expensive despite technological advances in producing them and conservation efforts to use less per capita.

YouTube - Cows With Guns (music by Dana Lyons, www.cowswithguns.com)
GREAT SONG & VIDEO!

It reminds me of the COWMAN from N.J.

cbs3.com - N.J. Officer Allegedly Performed Sex Acts On Cows

Does anybody know what the price of gas is in NJ?

I think this thread is likely at the "Let's all moan" stage, but in case some are still around who are interested in the crude and petroleum products markets here is a good article:
