Independence Day
My best wishes to all today, the day we in the United States celebrate the founding of our nation. It's a fine day to read The Declaration of Independence. I find the closing especially powerful:
"And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor." Coach |
