Yep, the only thing that will change this on a wide spread basis is a good ole thumpin' on the economy that will force changes to peoples' perspective on things financial. The party's gotta end. And I think it's about to.

That's what did it to the Great Depression generation and their children (my parents; born in the early '30s). We've (America at large) been spoiled and got greedy and sloppy with ridiculous amounts of debt available. It was unsustainable and bound to crash. We'll see just how hard this thing falls. We need some pain to have people learn real, lasting lessons from it.
