So, I guess there are no homeless veterans in the U.S?

Are the service organizations who assist homeless veterans, the VA and HUD which have programs for homeless veterans and Congress who allocates the money to assist the homeless veteran's programs, all wasting tax dollars and there are no homeless veterans?

Is the media wrong as it pertains to their reports on homeless veterans?

Hey, the light is coming on! Great!
yes, it is 50% marketing (for those in the poverty industry) and 30% pandering (for those trying to prove they are the more compassionate than anyone else) and 20% antimilitary politics (percentages approx). If a particular poster happened to fall ito all three of these interst groups, I'd expect a lot of posts on this subject.

Otherwise, why "homeless vets"? There's no doubt that veterans are underrepresented in the homeless population (see my previous posts). Why not "Next Wave of Right-handed Homeless People Emerges." ??

To the board at large: Sorry, I know I'm feeding . . .

I did. Its the first time I've had to use it. Its comical how she likes to refer to the people that argue with her as women.

I dont particularly like listening to diarrhea of the mouth.

Did we not go through this same issue before and you got your butt handled back to you.

If you do not like what other people have to say then by all means exercise your right to put them on ignore and quit following then around the forum making childish remarks that are neither here or there.

One of the largest combat zone reenlistments in history.
Hundreds re-enlist, become citizens on July 4 - Army News, opinions, editorials, news from Iraq, photos, reports - Army Times
I guess they did not want to come back to the states and be homeless.

Wags,
....Sure there are homeless vets in the US but not nearly as many as the homeless or their advocates are saying there are.
....Are the service organizations wasting tax dollars on homeless programs? Yes.
....Is the media wrong as it pertains their reports on homeless vets? Yes.
