I don't know but I have my doubts. Most people are insured currently through the group market. If you are part of the group the insurer must insure you. Some risk to the insurer is reduced because you likely are healthy enough to be employed. With most people insured under a plan where they can't get kicked out why aren't insurance companies already taking on the obesity issue?
