They need to let me decide what gets shutdown and what stays open. The national parks are the tiniest drop in the bucket, but very visible. I'd go the other way...I'd find the least visible and see if anybody even notices.

Then no one would care, it would defeat the purpose of the shutdown. It's always the most visible. Even if the thing they close doesn't cost anything, like the roadside pull-offs at Mount Rushmore during the last shutdown.

Image if they shut down the tea tasting commission and no one cared?

Me too. I get my news here and lite news on facebook (but only if I don't scroll past it fast enough).
