You could ditch all the technology, read your news on dead trees, and live off the grid in the woods I guess.

That was my point in my original post. Some days it feels like a great idea.

You paid 250 to rent a fridge for 3 weeks, ouch.

Is there a reason you didn't just by an el cheapo model and use it as a garage fridge or re sell on Craigslist. Why is the new fridge taking 3 weeks to arrive?

Six week minimum for the rental. They delivered within the hour before the food got warm. Had 15 over for dinner that evening...was kinda busy. Just wanted to get it over with.

I guess I would have invited my neighbor to that dinner if he let me use his fridge for a while!

But I feel your pain! We are running old stuff and counting the days when all hell breaks loose! Newest thing is a second iPad. Our printer is so old that it has no USB connection so my old laptop (XP) runs it on the network.

Give it a try during a vacation some time.
I'm guessing in just a few days the idea won't seem so great.
