Windows 10 April 2018 Update

Just got through the multiple re-boots for the 6 month update.
Heads up, it takes a while.

Fortunately all but one of the five computers in my household are running Linux so no worries about updates. I'll brace with heavy trank for the one that runs windows...

Wow, it took an HOUR!! Their servers must be busy tonight.

At first, it said, "preparing to install", but then it had to download the update so that probably slowed things down. Anyway, so far so good but really I haven't done anything with it yet.

May have been a mistake for me to try this so soon. Says "Working on updates, 100%". After awhile PC shuts down and I have to manually power it up. Not sure it's making any progress.

Hmmm..... mine took about 5-10 minutes.

I walked away thinking it would be an hour. So when I heard some chimes from my laptop, I came back to see what was going on...and it was restarted and ready for me to log in.

I downloaded the ISO overnight.

"Burned" it to my USB flash drive.

I will be doing a clean install on my two Lenovo Ideapad 120S with the 32GB hard drive when I get the time.
