I did a little digging on the RIA thing. Here's my findings:
Some of the bigger RIAs in the US do hire debt analysts. However, most of them are equity heavy, so the need is not as great as for CFA equity guys.
In addition, if you moved from the hedge fund world to the RIA world,you would no doubt take a significant pay cut.
You are probably more OVer-qualified than under-qualified for our side of the investment world.
I know a very successful recruiter out of Texas that is very knowlegeable about what's out there. I'll give him a call and get some more info, and let you know. If he has some solid ideas, I'll put you in touch with him.........
