hello BGF,
My business would be called 'infopreneur.' I first heard about this maybe 5 or 6 years ago in Brian Tracey's 'Multiple Streams of Passive Income' book. Or perhaps it was his 'multiple streams of passive internet income' book - one of the two.
Both are good books but only scratch the surface. So about 2 years ago now during xmas break with the family I started to research how to make money online. I looked at a lot of different packages and finally bought into one - luckily for me it was 'the right one' as there are quite a few bad to terrible products out there and I have bought more than a couple of the stinkers while I try to expand my education ;)
My last 'failed' business was a video game art company based in China. That business was a real work prison and also I learned where I used to think I needed a partner before, I realized that I can go this alone - I just need good mentors and to find the virtual team members with the skills that I do not possess or do not have the time to do.
Have you ever thought about selling info, or a product or service online? It takes a little while to get rolling if you don't have a lot of money/time to throw at it, but if you have some time it's something that you can grow into a substantial business on its own, or use it to supplement another business.
What businesses are you looking at?
Cheers.
