- BS in Forest Management, MS in Forest/Civil Engineering, 28 years with the feds took me all over the US providing an opportunity to experience and live in a variety of locations. I retired in March 2008 at age 51. At retirement I am living on a nice lake in Alabama but will likely relocate, possibly more than once. I decided to stay put for at least a year after retiring to allow for a more reasoned decision with time to wind down and enjoy the slower pace. Currently just me and the pup (6 yr old black lab) enjoying life and contemplating relocation.
