Hawaii is going through the same visitor's angst as Thailand. OTOH bargains are everywhere! Akaisha tells me that the dollar has started skyrocketing against the Mexican currency, and they're enjoying a higher standard of living in Chapala this month. Although the Russians may be acting like six-year-olds at Disneyland, in your position I wouldn't start worrying until the signs changed over to Cantonese... or Hangul!
