Hey, I'm considering going down to southern Florida in January and thought you might be able to answer a question for me. I'm going to experiment and try living out of my car. I was thinking i'd go to a state park to shower a couple days/week. From what I found online, it looks like it costs just $4 for entry if you just have one person in the car and you're not staying the night. Camping is much more expensive(averaging around $30/night). So, my question is, do you know if I could use the showers without paying the camping fees(just the $4). I forget the name of it but there's a park just to the south of Sarasota that i'm thinking about doing this. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

Hi again,
Well, we had a great time in both Venice and Bradenton Beach. We didn't do everything we thought we might but we did follow quite a few of your suggestions and had a wonderful week. I could really see spending more time in either area, and hope to do so next year. Inn at the Beach was perfect; what a nice place in a nice area. Tortuga had some issues but they were fairly minor. The beaches were lovely and the ocean temps were perfect.
We did ride through Chestnut Creek but my wife wasn't too keen on the whole idea. Looked very nice though. Further from the beach area than I thought.
I was really impressed with everything. Sarasota Airport is a joy to fly in and out of.
Next year, 2 weeks I hope...maybe a condo on AMI. Thanks so much, again.
