Don Ho researches stem cells in Bangkok

Yeah, I know. "Don Ho is still alive? The 'Tiny Bubbles' guy?!?"

He's 75 years old and apparently has no plans to ever quit performing, but he's been having heart troubles and his pacemaker is starting to complain. There are alternatives to surgery that apparently aren't approved in the U.S. yet so he elected to go overseas.

This article doesn't say exactly where he went, but I bet it was Bumrungrad. Billy, Akaisha, it'll be interesting to see whether the local Thai papers pick up on this and what Don Ho says about Bangkok when he gets back home...
