Humana Gold

Howdy everyone. First time poster, but I have lurked for years. I am 49 years old and have been retired for seven years.

My wife has recently been approved for Medicare (disabled) and I am trying to get familiar with the variouds medicare+ and medigap plans. The story that Humana Gold puts out is very compelling. In my area there are no additional fees above Medicare B for their medicare+ plan.

My wife has RA so a good healthcare plan is very important to us. Are there members out there that use this plan and care to comment?

I am only a few months form Medicare eligibility so I am beginning to research Medigap policies; but I haven't done much yet.

Could you outline the benefits of Humana Gold?

Hunana Gold is not a Medigap insurance even though Humana sells those also. Humana Gold specifics are state and county dependant so you need to go to http://www.humana-medicare.com/index.asp to plug in your info.
