Seriously, if you read most news outlets today you'd think the world has ended.

What do the folks here recommend for level-headed financial news?

to elaborate....he warned last week to get out of emerging markets. I heeded his advice.
thank goodness, or today would have been even worse. I like his macro-view of things.

He recently (last month?) published lengthy articles warning about China's markets and their role in a possible global stock melt down...

Well, I listened to y'all and moved a considerable part of my REIT Index into Target Retirement 2015. That's all the moving I'm gonna do for awhile. I won't pay much attention to the noise.

Reuters sucks the big, hairy one-eye.

I find bloomberg avoids much of the actual hysteria, although they tend to pound on a few themes per day.

Yeah, I was going to suggest bloomberg.com for the facts without the hysteria.
