Need more proof that EIAs stink?

The primary complaint in these suits is that the annuities are inappropriate investments for older people and that the buyers were not made aware of the onerous penalties if money was withdrawn earlier than the term of the contract.

Even though it mentions "older people" here in this quote, I can not imagine a good reason that a person of any age would benefit from this thing. Oh yea, I know of someone that will benefit...the insurance agent of any age!
