Retire on the house

Has any one read Retire On the House: Using Real Estate To Secure Your Retirement by Gillette Edmunds and James Keene. I checked it out of the library.

Just looking for others opinion on it.

Have not read this one, but I have read several of Gillette Edmunds' other books. He is a good writer. It does seem that he has perhaps "retired" on his book royalties.

Reminds me of a guy named Norman Ford who wrote many books about the advantages of retirement in various low cost places in Latin America and elsewhere including the US. When it was time for him to retire he chose Long Island.
