Back in the 50's I discovered an old guy building a 35' cabin cruiser in his back yard. It was just a few blocks from home and I would check out the progress every week or so. The old guy even let me see inside once when it was just about finished.

Then the unthinkable happened, the old guy died. The boat sat covered in tarps under a makeshift shed for a year of so and then one day a huge crane and flatbed truck showed up. Within a few hours the boat was gone and all that was left was a bare spot.

I always wondered whatever happened to that boat.
