Confused about dryer sheets

Hello all,
Looking for some wisdom on doing a 401k rollover into my Vanguard IRA. Most of the 401k money is in Pimco Bond fund PTTRX. I am happy with Pimco performance but not the fees. Also, Pimco is holding lots of cash. A move to a bond fund seems like bad timing right now. Would it make sense to move all the Pimco into Vanguard Prime Money Market fund ,then auto transfer a small amount each month into Total Bond fund?
