Has anyone on the board owned (or now owns) a motorbike with attached sidecar?

Weight limitations of passenger? Which brand or make?

What's it like to drive (as different from the maxi-scooter I now ride)?

How did your SO take to being a passenger (or not take)? :bat:

Years ago I had an Eldorado Motoguzzi with a sidecar (Velorex, I think). What a blast to use around town, for groceries and other errands. Everyone that rode in that sidecar... loved it! But, for the backroads and the "twisties" - - not so good. It did not handle well - it was a great ride for when I lived in S.CA but now that I live in N,.CA with all the best mountain roads....I sold it and went back to 2 wheels.
If you are in an area with lots of highway and use the bike for errands.....go for it! If you want to enjoy mountain roads.....maybe not.
Some of the new sidecars have quick release systems - you can take off the car in minutes - that would be a good way to go - mine was a Bear(sorry for that term!)to get on and off - so it stayed on.
If you get one - make sure it has a disk brake on the car wheel - the car and a passenger adds alot of weight -
