Hello, 34 years old noob here! need some direction from this forum

My Summary:
- 34 years male
- Immigrated to Canada in 1999
- never married
- supporting my parents and brothers in my homeland
- love to travel, did a few them in the last few years

Financial Summary:
Net worth: ~290K CAD. If I were to include my property in my home country, it'd be ~360K CAD. Half of the 290K is house equity. Half of that is just straight savings, it's a proceed from the first property I just sold. Now I need a direction on where to put this money, as I had no luck in fund/stock investment before. I'm more comfortable in real estate, but since it's tanking now, I'm gonna try the stock market again.

My Goal: I want to retire before 55 years old. I like to travel more or buy property in Italy. Gosh! I love that country so much.

So that's why I join this forum as I want to focus more on my retirement plan to get some ideas.
