About a guide to retirement. Let me point out I never read their first book but it got good reviews and I assume they will bring their usual standard of excellence to the new effort.

But in keeping with my recent 'don't read books mantra' - what do they need to stand out from the crowd? - given the ocean of retirement books/studies/articles flooding the media now that the front edge of baby boomers are getting there. aka feed the ducks.

I guess we can't smack em on the wrists with a ruler and make go stand in the corner like grade school when they don't keep their nest egg's at 25 times expenses!

heh heh heh -

Super! If it's as good as the last one, I think it will be well worth reading. I should wander on over there and see what if any clues concerning details of its content I can find.

They're getting a lot of suggestions, but:

Thanks for the outline!!

After reading it, I think I will skip this book for now. It is a little late for me to start planning for ER, since I plan to retire next year. The section on investment considerations looks interesting. The remainder of the book will be more helpful to me after my move away from New Orleans (back to the U.S.A.?) in 2010.

Still, it looks like another really good book!

But in keeping with my recent 'don't read books mantra' - what do they need to stand out from the crowd? - given the ocean of retirement books/studies/articles flooding the media now that the front edge of baby boomers are getting there. aka feed the ducks.
I'm happy to read anything written by Taylor Larimore, but it's kinda hard to tell who's actually writing this book.

Anyone have a link?
