El día acá es miserable, los planes nuestros se fueron “pal [moderator edit]” y para pasar un poco de tiempo estoy escribiendo notas ociosas... :)

Un gran abrazo a todos y que tengan un día bonito.

Hola! Has nacido en algún pais Latinoamericano? Si no es así, felicidades por tu Español!

I have been advised by the moderators that posting in spanish is beyond the scope of this forum, so I will refrain.

How’s it going, Ha? How’s the conversation practice coming along? As for my post, well, it’s June in chicago, I just bought a new grill, and it’s cold and rainy. Other than than, life’s great. :)

Y gracias a Juan Carlos I
That man is a Venezuelan national hero!

No, but I did sleep in a holiday inn express last night.:ROFLMAO:

Sorry – I take advantage of your post to make some local humor. Thanks for the comment - I did spend some time in Latin America.

To all those reading – I used a word in my original post that is quite common and inoffensive in Venezuela. It may have offended some and does not translate well on some online sites. My apologies.

Clarification:
I have been advised by the moderators that posting in spanish is beyond the scope of this forum, so I will refrain.

Our Community Rules state: "The language of this forum is English." However, that does not mean we do not allow the occasional post or phrase in another language. There are thousands of examples throughout the forum where this is done without problem.

One risk when posting in a language other than English (and why it should be done sparingly) is how it may be interpreted by the online tools others may use for translation. Unfortunately that is what occurred in this situation.

I can read Spanish, so I knew what you were posting about, MichaelB (and living outside Chicago, I just have this to say about the weather here: &*%$#^@***!), but if your post was in another non-English language, I wouldn't know if you were complaining about the weather or suggesting I buy some counterfeit top quality cameras and basketball shoes from you.
