I've heard that when you exercise you should not extend your knees past the toes (lunges, etc.) since it's bad for the knees. I've noticed when I climb stairs that I always extend my knee past my toes. I really have to concentrate in order to NOT extend my knees past my toes. But, when I do, my knees don't hurt in climbing the stairs. Am I the only dummy that doesn't have proper form for stair climbing? Really makes me wonder what else I'm doing to harm myself.
