Fall 2009 at oakland lake bayside queens

its so hard to remember your in queens when at oakland lake. its part of ally pond and is a 15,000 year old glacial pond fed with under ground springs.
at one time it was rumoured the lake was 600 ft deep and had underground tunnels to little neck bay. a team of divers went in years ago and found no tunnels and a depth of about 20 ft.

Mathjak, you and your wife (?) have taken so many, many wonderful photos that, if it were me, I would have a whole wall with framed photos in my house I'm sure. You really have some great pictures always. Thanks for sharing!

im blushing!....awe shucks...... and yes my wife is my co-photographer... shes a little more subdued in her work then i am but little by little im dragging her to the dark side ha ha ha
