Helicopter ride around nyc pics

finally got up enough nerve to go up in one of those tiny little helicopters and do some shooting.. yesterday marilyn and i decided today we would do it.
it was soooooo incredible, it was like being in a bubble floating above the city.
it was very foggy and we had to do alot of work to extract the photos from the fog
these are marilyns first

We've been up in that same kind of heli. They are delicate compared to planes. I've driven over all those bridges and been in some of the buildings. I liked the railroad bridge pic the most.

Why were some of the buildings reddish? Were they really that color?

This is a pic of our house from our flight. Hey, I can see my truck from here!

the sun and polarization kind of saturated the browns making them slightly red

One of the things I miss about no longer flying as a private pilot is the cool prospective from the air at fairly low altitudes. Great pictures thanks for sharing.
