Does anyone know where to find a very long term chart of the British Pound/USD exchange rate? Alternatively, does anyone know the low from the mid-eitghties onward?
I remember a very strong USD sometime in the mid-eighties. I think prior to that the pound was always strong relative to today, although I think there has been a very long term downtrend, since WW2 at least.
