Sunsets

Sunsets are a favorite with us. Here is one from last night on the lake.

Funny, I have a very similar sunset picture of our lake (sans docks) and I keep the photo right above my computer monitor here at work. I hadn't looked at it recently till this morning. Mine has the silhouette of the trees juxtaposed against the sunset as well.

Looks like you accidentally got some Spanish Moss stuck to your lens.

I just looked through my photo collection and found very few sunsets. I think it's because I never felt able to make a sunset look as spectacular in a picture as it looked to me in real life. I did find a couple though. I hope these qualify:

Photos like this remind me how fortunate we are to be living here in the USA.
