It would be funny, except...
I have just now finished cleaning up our kitchen after an adventure with another incredible product. Last week during a visit to our favorite resale shop, I made an incredible purchase of a perfect, almost unused product that has received international acclaim for its' utility, ease of use, cleanability and ingenuity. The all time favorite of homemakers, and famous chefs and gourmonds worldwide.
The famous:
SALAD SHOOTER
Pristine, still in the box. And I paid $1.00. Not just frugal... Smart!
ei, yi, yi.... Bought cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, onions and the mixings for the world's greatest cole slaw. Waved DW back, and pumped chunks of stuff into the funnel top. Turned on the switch, and heard the powerful motor spinning... But, nothing came out but liquid. The grater did nothing to grate... just caused an impacted handful of wet mush.
Aha!... Was supposed to use the slicer. Washed out the grater wiped up the juice, poured the mush down the disposal. Minor setback.
Reassembled the SS, and started again... nothing came out, even though the motor ran and the veggies squished down the chute... until, all at once, the Salad Shooter did what it was supposed to do, and shot the sliced up "mush" all over the counter, onto the stove, and into every nook and cranny in the kitchen.
... and so ends another learning experience.
Now... as to the banana slicer... How much trouble could that cause?
BTW... did you check out all 18 images of the slicer? I think one of them may have featured BestWifeEver.
