Not RE in our terms, because she is 75, but the alternative is indefinite ribbon cutting. A good decision after 33 years on the Dutch throne. Always pragmatic, the Dutch. I like their approach to life.

My favorite story about them comes from a friend who was stationed at Soesterberg, a NATO airbase back in the 70s. The base was right next to the royal castle, so flying operations were restricted to 9-5, Monday-Friday. Outside of those hours, the royal family complained about the jet noise. My friend said it was probably the only military airbase in the world that kept strict "banker's hours."
