PBS has been showing the Motown 25 program for a pledge drive.
The entire program was great (I don't need to tell anyone that), but of course it was "Billie Jean" and the moonwalk that sent it off into outer space.
I watched that performance twice, and it looks to me that he pulled that out of his hat just 2 times, each only 4 steps (it's a 4/4 tune, so that would make sense).
But man, EVERYBODY (myself included) was shuffling around like a fool afterward.
Amazing. That one performance still does it!
