Naming names

From another thread:

I purposely did not name the company, unsure whether my post would get yanked. It is not Comcast.

Since it wasn't comcast - I assume it's Time Warner. They're the two biggest players.

Would have the post been yanked if the company was named? Is there any policy on naming companies?

I don't think so. Sometimes people don't name names so the discussion doesn't end up focused on other bad behavior by the same company.
