I may be in South San Francisco for a whirlwind visit of 2 or 3 days max to do a video shoot. I think I'll have some free time, and would like to do a bucket list item of running over the Golden Gate.
Nowadays, my running distance is 4 to 5 miles. I did some preliminary research and see there's a Golden Gate Bridge Visitor Center. Running from there should be within my running limits.
Any problem parking at that Center? Is it easy to connect to the Bridge
path from there? Is there one path on the bridge or two? If two, does it matter (scenery-wise) which path to take?

Yes you can park at either end of the bridge. The north side has more space but will cost you the bridge toll to drive out of the city and back. Pedestrians go on the bay side path. Bikes on the other. The bridge can be busy with lots of walkers so expect a slow run.

Good luck

Phil

In the words of the late, great, SF bridge runner, Walt Stack, "Start slow, and taper off".
