We have all done that kind of stupid mistakes. I think I lost 10k in Wcom, 10K on an .com IPO(came out april 2000 - talk about great timing skills here!), 5k on a tech fund also bought around the peak.
I also had my gambling winners but the losses might win.
It helps to REDUCE ones gambling amount if the pain is too much. But I will always need a LITTLE for my gambling account...
