If you're flexible about the date of the honeymoon, Norwegian Cruise Lines appears to be doing a fine job with their Hawaii island cruises and they're discounting some of the itineraries. Hawaii hotels are in their high-- very high-- season now but the prices will start to come back down in three-four months.

Or you could find a cheap rental on a neighbor island. I guess it all depends how much luxury you want and how much you want to interact with your environment.
